COURSE INTRODUCTIONThis course is targeted at participants who are required to supervise safe systems of work using lifting equipment. It is recommended that, prior to attending this course, individuals should have adequate experience working with lifting equipment, particularly with various types of cranes.

COURSE INTRODUCTION
The aim of the course is to provide EOT crane operators with the information, knowledge and skills required to enable them to operate such equipment safely and effectively, and to ensure the safety of any other person working with the machine. Training shall consist of a combination of formal instruction (e.g. lecture, discussion, interactive computer learning, video tape, written material), practical training with suitable demonstrations, practical exercises and evaluation of the operator’s performance in the workplace.
